Comfort 160
The Sport with the outside trimmed out and the inside decided. White casing around every opening, a glazed entry door with a light on each side, pine on the walls, and the appliances already in. This is the 160 people put behind the house for guests.
Trimmed out, and nothing left to buy.
The Sport is a container with a door cut into it, and it looks like one. The Comfort is the same box with the openings cased in white, a glazed door instead of a blank steel one, and a light on either side of it. From thirty feet away that is the whole difference between a jobsite box and a cabin — and inside, there is nothing left to buy before the first night.
The trim package
White casing on the corners, the rails and every opening, a nine-light entry door, and a sconce each side of it. It is the cheapest thing on this page that changes how the cabin reads.
Pine inside
Tongue-and-groove pine to the ceiling, left unpainted so the grain carries the room, under a matte white beadboard ceiling. Vinyl plank underfoot instead of bare plywood.
Appliances included
Refrigerator, cooktop and microwave sized to the kitchenette run. Nothing to source before the first night.
A pocket door at the bath
An accordion door costs nothing and feels like it. In 160 square feet a pocket door is worth more than it sounds.
